So, what is Extra Plugin?
Extra Plugin is a Google Adsense plugin for your wordpress blogs with Placement Targeting feature that target your categories and places a different Adsense channel for a different category. This way, you can make more channels for your Adsense ads that are related to a category, making every channel more targeted to your articles. Niche and targeted channels can get more advertisers, thus increasing your CTR and CPC. Also, such targeted channels are sometimes featured in the Adwords system, which will help you to get more high paying advertisers.
You can see how this would be useful. Let’s say that you run a car blog. You can have one set of ads for your Ford category, another set of ads for your Toyota category, and yet another set for your Ferrari category. Each of these can have different Adsense targeting, different keywords, different channels, and different optimization.

Following are the features of Extra Plugin
1. Placement Targeting
Extra Plugin uses the Placement targeting feature of Google Adsense and help you to configure it on your wordpress blog. This feature makes your blog more targeted to the advertisers. You can display a different Adsenes code to a different category, that way you can make separate Adsense channels for separate categories. That way, your Adsense channels will be more targeted and it will be displayed on targeted articles of the related category. This way you will get targeted ads which will increase your CTR and high paying advertisers which will give you more CPC. Targeted Niche Adsene channels that gets a lot of traffic, are also displayed on the Adwords bidding system, which is a great way to catch more high paying advertisers. [Premium Feature]
2. Making it Niche
The above feature can also be used for advertisement systems like Bidvertisers or Adbrite etc. which are not content targeted. Those advertisement options are category targeted. By using the Extra Plugin, you can put a separate category targeted ad for a separate category. This feature can also be used on a broad category blog or a general blog. Since you can show a separate code for a separate category, even a general blog becomes Niche. [Premium Feature]
3. Don’t show ads to administrator
An option to not display ads to the admin of the blog, that way you can browse the blog nicely without seeing your own ads. Helps you to prevent accidental clicks.
4. Don’t show ads on specific articles
On some articles where you do not want to show the ads, you can remove ads from those individual articles by entering their article ids.
5. Show ads where ever you like
We have options to display ads on the front page, single page, post pages… left, right or middle, surrounded with content on all sides, all of which helps to increase your CTR.
At Extra Plugin, we always try to add as many features as possible, if you buy the premium version of extra plugin it will help us to add more features in the future versions.

hi kishore,
thanks for your comments,
Screenshots of ads would depend on how you have put them or what ads you have selected. Am planning to do a video, that way it will help you understand more about the workings of the plugin.
Yaah! After a longtime I came here, actually I do have a problem, to discuss it with you I came here, I do have a blog with is about mobile phones, so most of my site visitors browse it mobile devices. Could you please give me code are trusted plugin to show the google adsense ads based on the device as mobile version google adsense ads to mobile visitors and normal adsense ads to pc visitors?
hi kishore,
am not really sure that i got your question, but i guess you want to show different ads to mobile device visitors and pc visitors… and this is something that Adsense does already.
extraplugin is not designed to show separate ads to mobile and pc visitors, but i still guess that adsense itself will be able to do it.
why not test drive the plugin and let us know if it works that way, just send me an email,
